I simply switched for glad's defense and everything worked out pretty good. Troll farming sucks tho you only get about 1k per run unless ur lucky

Nice. You made a Sword-Version of the common Axe farming build. Very nice indeed. I'll play test it later tonight and see if it works out.

I find this build much for profitable than griffon farming, sure griffons drop more gold and purple stuff, but its not that likely you'll get a 10k+ weapon from them, and the rockshots piss me off to the max. Hydras are great 'cause they drop tons of money and useless items that go for 50g each ^_^. All in all, this a great build and I'd like to thank don't feel no pain.

Hmm..

Well, I finally decided to get to serious work with this build. Bought runes, got the collectors shield with +45 Health an -2 Damage while in a stance, and fiddled.

Total ownage

I've swapped out Vigorous Spirit for Sprint, as I have started using this build for Wurm and Griffin farming as well. Sprint is useful for getting away from the Sand Elementals, Sand Drakes, and Enchanteds (also the occasional pack of 4 wurms).

It requires a bit of timing, but when used right this Hydra farming build can wipe out quite a bit of the Desert enemies... I only run from the Enchanteds because the Enchanted Bows tend to mess me up and I die...

I love this build...it gives me a fun break from my 55 monk. I recorded some videos but google video owned the quality...I'll upload elsewhere I guess.

Not anything amazing, but this is a nice build.

It works great, real easy too.

If you don't see the image transparent then you need to get firefox

Quick question: able to use with axes? I mean like you know... no riposte but axe skill instead? I would use my brain but I'm no axe user.

hmm...with an axe build you could probably go /r and use the same defensive skills and use troll unguent and apply poison. seemed to work ok with wurms, probably not as fun though.
